Course Description
For multiple reasons, such as the lack of development in its infrastructure, the geographical layout of its production system or the slowness (and even ineffectiveness) of some control systems, the lag that the nation faces in terms of competitiveness is notorious. Meanwhile, Colombia is a country of Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs, whose contribution to formal employment and the national economy is key. That is why it is essential to consider how to increase their competitiveness to guarantee their insertion in the global world, and one way to achieve this is by positioning the issue of Social Responsibility and Reverse Logistics on the agenda of large and small companies as well as empowering present students and future market players on the subject.

OBJECTIVE
Make participants aware of the importance of generating good practices and implementing effective measures to achieve a balance between industry and environment. At the end of the course the student will be able to:

  • Identify the components of a Corporate Social Responsibility Model.
  • Establish the relationship between Reverse Logistics, Social Responsibility and business
  • Define strategies for the implementation of a business improvement plan focused on logistics with Social responsibility
