The University of Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm is a higher education institution, founded in 1974, of a private nature, of non-profit common use, which has legal status through resolution No. 4973 of December 2004, issued by the Ministry of Education National.
The Virtual Clinic of Optometry - CVO is a support center for comprehensive training in competencies based on teleoptometry and social service attached to the Faculty of Health Sciences.
MISSION
Contribute to the duty of the Universidad del Sinú – Elías Bechara Zainúm to seek the integral formation of the person, through the generation of competencies in optometry that actively contribute to the integral formation through innovation in education, in order to generate an impact in the student and become a lifestyle for him and his teachers with a global approach and social benefit.
VISION
We will be a support center for the training of human resources in optometry, contributing to the training of students, as well as the national and international recognition of the University, with a clear sense of belonging and commitment to the comprehensive development of the region and the country under a global approach, providing appropriate management of the use of technology and knowledge as part of the training of professionals in the health area, with projection to the environment Social.
