TRAINING PURPOSES

  • Develop skills in students to design, plan and evaluate management systems in EPS, IPS, ESE, ARS, ARP, Prepaid Medicine Entities, Surveillance and Control Bodies and Administrative and Municipal Health Directorates, according to new trends in the General System of Social Security in Health and in accordance with ISO standards and the National Health Credit System.
  • Delve into the conceptual and theoretical foundations and approaches of how quality is managed in health services, in the regulatory and institutional development context.
  • Implement quality management indicators as a tool that contributes to increasing the social and human well-being of the entire population.
  • Favor the development of criteria and critical sense to face the conflicts typical of the area of specialization.
  • Develop the leadership capacity of the future specialist with a solid ethical and humanistic background.
  • Resize the activity of the Quality Manager and Health Auditor so that their professional practice is recognized and respected at all levels of the organization.

This program is open to professionals in the health area: doctors, dentists, bacteriologists, professional nurses, nutritionists, surgical technicians and other professionals in the health area, as well as professionals in the area of administrative and related sciences.

  • Undergraduate degree or its equivalent that accredits you as a professional must be validated by the Ministry of National Education of Colombia. All documents that are not in Spanish must be translated.

  • Ability and knowledge in the elaboration of diagnoses of problems in Management of health institutions and the ability to implement solutions.
  • Trained to manage and implement all the components of the quality assurance system in force in Colombia.
