The University of Sinú Sectional Cartagena offers its students and parents the following financing alternatives for the legalization of their enrollment:

CREDIT WITH FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS:

The university has an agreement with the following financial entities, specialists in educational credit, which offer direct advice in our facilities during the enrollment period, facilitating and speeding up the loan application and disbursement process:

Students or applicants can pay their tuition through the different lines of credit managed by ICETEX. Among these we have traditional credit lines YOU CHOOSE, special credit lines, FUNDS and Alliances.

In addition to the traditional lines, ICETEX has special lines for populations in conditions of vulnerability. These lines have more flexible access requirements and payment conditions than traditional lines. You can consult each of them in the following links:

Postgraduate Line Country Medicine

  • You pay 100% of the value of the credit after you graduate.
  • Have a joint and several debtor accepted by ICETEX who will endorse and sign with the student the documents (Letter of Instructions and Promissory Note) that support the educational credit, when the line of credit to which it applies is Postgraduate Medicine in the Country with joint and several debtor.
  • Have favorable financial and credit history.
  • If as an applicant you have had or have a credit with ICETEX, you must have paid at least the 51% of the debt, be up to date with payments and continue to repay the obligation in accordance with the established payment plan.

Country Postgraduate Line

  • You pay the 20% of the value of the credit while you study and the 80% after you graduate.
  • You can request it without a joint debtor or with a joint debtor accepted by ICETEX who will endorse and sign with the student the documents (Letter of Instructions and Promissory Note) that support the educational loan.
  • Have favorable financial and credit history.
  • If as an applicant you have had or have a credit with ICETEX, you must have paid at least the 51% of the debt, be up to date with payments and continue to repay the obligation in accordance with the established payment plan.

Forgivable credits in which the District assumes 75% of the tuition value and the university the remaining 25%. Applies to students born in Cartagena and graduated from official schools in the city.

Line of Financing Talent in my territory

  • Aimed at the population of Buenaventura students who enter or are studying a program at a higher institution in agreement with Icetex.
  • You can choose within this line the payment method of 0%, 10% or 25%
  • Belong to stratum 1, 2 or 3.
  • Tests know 11 with a score equal to or greater than 210, and in the case of the indigenous population with a score equal to or greater than 200 points.
  • Grade point average: 3.4 equal or higher.

  • Minimum amount: loans from $700,000 and up to 24,000,000
  • Loans for Vacation, undergraduate, postgraduate, courses, continuing education and diplomas.
  • Term: 6, 12 and 24 months
  • Pre approval in 15 minutes without documents
  • Requirements for legalization: in case documentation is required, the client must attach it for the study. (not all credits ask for documents)
  • Required documentation: only if required
  • Response time: 3 business days after the client submits and signs all the required documentation.
  • Rate: 1.8 % NMV + FGA

long term credit

  • Minimum amount: we lend from $500,000 up to the client's payment capacity.
  • Loans for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, continuing education.
  • Term: 84 months
  • Pre approval in 15 minutes without documents
  • Requirements for legalization: The client must present documentation for the study.
  • Required documentation: Photocopy of CC
    • Employees: Labor letter, if you get paid payroll in Bancolombia you don't need documents
    • Independents and independent professionals: Bank statements and chamber of commerce, or income statement if declared.
    • Capital rentiers: Certificate of freedom and tradition and lease contracts or financial returns.
    • Carriers: vehicle ownership card and affiliation letters
    • Pensioners: last 3 payment stubs or pension resolution with the last stub.
  • Rate: 1.7% NMV

It is a direct payment alternative with the university, designed for those students who cannot access traditional financing options.
This type of Financing applies to undergraduate and graduate students, if you need to know the current conditions for this period, you should write to the email infocredito@unisinucartagena.edu.co

The agreement with the Cooaceded cooperative is made, the request is made by means of a management check, it can be made for the 100% of the value of the registration. You must legalize your financial registration at the Registration office by presenting the following documentation at least two (2) days before the expiration date:

  • Original payment order.
  • Photocopy of the student's identity document
  • Photocopy of the identity document of the joint and several debtor.
  • Valid registration receipt
  • Fill out and sign (student and joint and several debtor) in the presence of the official of the Enrollment office, the link application and the direct credit promissory notes. In case of not being able to attend, these forms can be delivered by a third party as long as they are duly completed, signed and authenticated with biometric recognition, both by the student and by their joint and several debtor.
  • After 24 hours of delivery of the documentation, the student will be able to download from their Elysa platform the receipt for the balance to be paid and make the payment at the Banco de Occidente offices.
